Moldovan-Bulgarian relations discussed in Milan

Chisinau, 7 December /MOLDPRES/- Developing political dialogue, deepening trade and economic relations, establishing new partnerships in education, social protection, culture and other sectors were discussed at the Milan meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Tudor Ulianovschi and Deputy Foreign Minister of Bulgaria Emilia Kraleva, the MAEIE’s press service has reported.
The dialogue focused on the interest of both sides in organizing bilateral visits and boosting cooperation between the two foreign ministries in the context of the establishment of the Diplomatic Institute under the MAEIE. In this context, Ulianovschi appreciated the logistical and technical support to the National Institute by his colleagues from Sofia, mentioning the fact collecting visit this week of the representatives of the Chisinau Institute to Bulgarian colleagues.
The meeting occasioned an exchange of views on the situation of ethnic Bulgarians. Appreciating the efforts of the Moldovan government to support the Bulgarian minority, Emilia Kraleva underlined the country's commitment to further support the implementation of social and educational projects aimed at preserving and promoting the cultural and linguistic identity of Bulgarians in our country.
Another topic addressed during the meeting was the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in international and regional forums.
