About 70,000 pensioners, disabled people from Moldovan capital to receive assistance on occasion of Christmas holidays

Chisinau, 7 December /MOLDPRES/ - About 70,000 disadvantaged people from the Chisinau municipality will receive a one-off material assistance worth 100 lei on the occasion of the Christmas holidays.

According to the city hall, seven million lei was provided for in the municipal budget to this end.

Pensioners and persons with severe disabilities, pronounced and medium, whose pensions do not exceed the sum of 1,450 lei, who are beneficiaries of compensations/urban-transport pass for travel in public transport and are in the files of the territorial social assistance structures, will benefit from the material aid.

The money can be taken at the offices of the state enterprise Posta Moldovei (Moldova’s Post) starting from today till 19 December 2018.
