The Christmas tree – major "actor" of the Christmas Fair, donated by the Government of Romania, arrives today in Chisinau. The Christmas Tree Ceremony begins at 14:30 in front of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy N. Testemitanu. PM Pavel Filip welcomes the Christmas tree at Government.

The customs checkpoint Ocnita-railway from northern Ocnita town hosts a ceremony on inauguration of the most high-tech stationary scanner from the region, meant for inspecting goods carried by train. The equipment was set within a technical assistance project, financed by the government of China. The event is held at 11:00.

The Municipal Department for the Protection of Rights of the Child invites to an exhibition of graphic and painting by children from the Community Centres for Children and Youth from Chisinau on the topic of winter holidays, at the Chisinau city hall at 10:00.
