Two post offices inaugurated in central Moldova district

Chisinau, 8 December /MOLDPRES/ - Two post offices were inaugurated in the settlements Bozieni and Cioara, central Hancesti district, on 7 December. They were rehabilitated and modernized by the state enterprise Posta Moldovei (Moldova’s Post).  

Attending the event were the director general of Posta Moldovei, Serghei Nastas, and representatives of local public authorities.  

„We are very proud that more post offices have been opened in the Hancesti district in the last years; this was possible only with the help of the people who want to change things for the better. I congratulate, first of all, the pensioners, as the elderly people are most often served. Posta Moldovei started a project on development of post units from rural regions and I hope that we will manage to fulfill the hopes of the employees and citizens. At the same time, we are happy that, starting from December, postmen, operators and the heads of post offices will benefit from increase in salaries from 1,000 to 1,500 lei, especially those who work in rural zones,” Serghei Nastas said.

For his part, the director of the post centre, Alexandru Schiopu, said that the opening of the offices represented a holiday for the residents of these villages. “We thank those who carried out the repair works. I congratulate the residents and operators due to work here and I wish you much success at the new working place,” Schiopu noted.   

Nineteen post offices have been inaugurated in the Hancesti district so far.
