Fine artist Mihai Tarus turned 70 today

Chisinau, 10 December /MOLDPRES/- Fine artist Mihai Ţăruş, winner of several national and international awards, is today 70 years.
He was born in 1948 in Sinesti, Ungheni district. In 1964 he graduated from the School of Fine Arts for Children "A. Sciusev”, in 1968 – A.Plamadeala College of Fine Arts and in 1975 - Academy of Fine Arts in Sankt-Petersburg.
His first personal exhibition was opened in 1981 in St. Petersburg, Russia. There have been numerous exhibitions both in the country and abroad.
In 1999, Mihai Ţăruş was awarded the honorary title Master of Arts, in 2007 - the silver medal of the Russian Academy of Painting, and in 2009, 2010 and 2013 - the gold medal. In 2013, he won the gold medal of the Russian Fine Artists Union. He has works in public and private collections in the country and abroad, including the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.
