Chisinau, 11 December /MOLDPRES/- State institutions responsible for promoting and implementing the wage law will create a system that will provide the necessary explanations to employees or employers about the new legislative provisions.
PDM spokesman Vitalie Gumurari made the statement at the end of the weekly meeting of the party.
According to Gamurari, state institutions are open to any question that comes from citizens to avoid unclear situations on the wage law.
"The implementation of the law on wages is an import project for Moldova and the government will do its utmost to make this process clear and beneficial to citizens. Starting from 1 December, the law entered into force, and in January many officials will get increased wages and in some cases even double,” Gamurari said.
Previously, the Ministry of Finance has set up a hotline where citizens can request if they want to know information about applying the new legislation.
According to the wage law, from 1 December, about 200,000 state employees will get higher wages and no salary will be less than 2,000 lei. To increase wages in 2019, 1.3 billion lei will be earmarked from the state budget.
