Moldovan pupils get six medals at International Junior Science Olympiad

Chisinau, 11 December /MOLDPRES/ – The pupils from Moldova have won a silver medal and five bronze medals at the 15th issue of the International Youth Sciences Olympiad (OISJ).
According to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research's information and media communication service, the silver medalist at this contest is Stefan Nicov, a pupil of the Theoretical High School Mihai Eminescu from Balti. The bronze medals were won by Adelina Andrei, Vladimir Purice, Marius Frija, Valerian Mocreac and Victor Sotropa, pupils of lyceum Orizont Durlesti, Chisinau municipality.
At issue of year 2018 of OISJ, there have participated 255 pupils from 47 countries, being admitted only pupils until the age of 15. Moldova was represented by six pupils and three teachers.
The Olympiad took place on 02 – 11 December, in Gaborone city, Botswana.
