Researchers from Romanian city launch three volumes in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 11 December /MOLDPRES/ – The researchers at the County Library Gheorghe Asachi in Iasi city released today three volumes marking the Centenary of the Union at the National Library of Moldova (BNM).
The books were presented by professor Constantin Dram, associate professor dr. Diana Vrabie, researcher Bogdan Mihai Mandache and writer Alexandru Corduneanu.
Professor Constantin Dram, coordinator of book: 100 de carti de acum o suta de ani, la Iasi (100 books a hundred years ago, in Iasi), mentioned that this is the result of a research that starts from more than a thousand titles, located in the warehouses of county library, from the universities in Iasi and Cluj and from the Academy Library.
Researcher Bogdan Mihai Mandache specified that volume: 100 de ani de grafie romaneasca (100 years of Romanian graphics) synthesises the way the Romanian language has changed during the recent hundred years, and university lecturer, Diana Vrabie, the caretaker of volume: Unirea din 1918 in presa din regiunea Moldovei (The Union of 1918 in press of Moldovan region) said that this is an anthology of opinion texts from the newspapers and magazines published in 1918.
The volumes are part of the editorial projects funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Identity in Romania throughout programme Centenar (Centenary).
