Moldovan PM refers in dialogue with employers on need to revise list of statistical reports from economic agents by national statistics bureau

Chisinau, 11 December /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister, Pavel Filip, today had a working session with the participation of members of the permanent office of the National Confederation Employers of Moldova (CNMP). There have been addressed a series of socio – economic problems in Moldova and the ways to solve them within it, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
An important topic of the discussions was the situation where economic agents are obliged to submit to the National Bureau of Statistics (BNS) an exaggerated number of statistical reports, some of which are irrelevant to the activity of enterprises. Pavel Filip requested that the list of those forms to be revised to reduce bureaucracy and support the business environment.
Also, there were discussed issues related to the payroll system, necessity to promote the Urbanism Code, capping of local taxes regardless of the type of activity of companies. The interlocutors also had an exchange of views on the need for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to initiate amendments to the agreement on international carriage.
The parties agreed to continue the dialogue to identify solutions to existing issues, the representatives of Employers expressing gratitude to Government for openness and actions to improve the business environment.
