Two plastic artists exhibit works at art centre in capital of Moldova

Chisinau, 13 December /MOLDPRES/ – The personal graphic exhibition of graphic artist, Gheorghe Zlobin, 70 years after birth and sculpture and painting of Constantin Constantinov, 75 years after birth, was varnished today at the Exhibition Centre Constantin Brancusi in Chisinau municipality.
The exhibition includes 140 works by Gheorghe Zlobin of book and easel graphics and 150 works of sculpture and painting by Constantin Constantinov.
Asked by agency, head of the Moldovan Artists Union, Dumitru Bolboceanu, said that Gheorghe Zlobin is a true professional who made graphics with watercolour, ink pen and pencil drawing.
"He illustrated over 50 books signed by Grigore Vieru, Vasile Vasilache, Liviu Deleanu, etc. Also, Constantin Constantinov is a gifted sculptor who works publicly in Chisinau, Moscow, as well as in many other cities. In Chisinau he made the funeral monument of poet Grigore Vieru, that of his parents, Constantin Constantinov and Ecaterina Cazimirov, and in Moscow – the monument of Dimitrie Cantemir. He is the author of an entire gallery of portraits of culture and art people from Moldova and Russia. He has works in the Tretiakov Gallery," said Dumitru Bolboceanu.
According to art critic, Victoria Rocaciuc, the above – mentioned exhibition differs from the previous ones by a high professional level. "I should like to have more plastic artists of this kind," said Victoria Rocaciuc.
The exhibition is open until 31 December.
