Moldovan premier attends reopening of kindergarten in central district

Chisinau, 15 December /MOLDPRES/ - Children and educators from the Draguseni village, central Straseni district, will enjoy better conditions, after the kindergarten from this settlement has been restored. The heating system, electricity network were changed here, the building was thermally isolated. As much as 3.5 million lei was allocated from the state budget for the repair of the kindergarten. Prime Minister Pavel Filip today attended the reopening of the kindergarten after the repair. He noted that investments in children were the most valuable and they would continue, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
„We cannot speak about a future of this country without thinking about the conditions we offer to our children. I want to say that money was provided for in the budget to continue the works of repair and arrangement of the settlement’s kindergarten for the next year as well,’’ Pavel Filip said.
The prime minister said that education remains a priority for the government. And after the wage payment reform, including the employees of the kindergartens will benefit from higher salaries. In the last three years, the allocations for the nourishment of the children in education institutions have been also increased. ‘’While starting from 2012 till 2015, these allocations increased by one leu, then in the last three years, they have grown seven-fold,’’ the PM noted.
In the context, Pavel Filip said that a pilot project on modern organization of nourishment in children and pupils in education institutions will be soon implemented in the Straseni district, which will contribute to improving the quality of the nourishment.
The kindergarten from Draguseni is attended by 60 children. Next year, about one million lei will be earmarked from the state budget for endowing the kindergarten with new furniture and finish the façade of the institution.
