Moldovan PM inspects road restored in central district

Chisinau, 15 December /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip today inspected a road in the Zamcioji village, central Straseni district, built within the Good Roads for Moldova programme. The road has a length of about 500 metres and the value of the works carried out is of about 1.4 million lei, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
This road is one of the most used by the residents of the village. Thus, after the road’s restoration, the local residents can easily move to the kindergarten, community centre, church, as well as to the mayoralty of the Radeni village, which was also capitally restored.
The PM visited the administrative building of the mayoralty, where the office of the family physician, post office and the police station are placed. As much as 1.7 million lei was spent for the repair works in all. The money was allocated from the state budget, budget of the mayoralty and the Straseni district council.
In the context, Pavel Filip stressed that the example of the Radeni village proves that, when there are will and joint efforts of local and central public authorities, the results do not leave themselves to be expected.
In the last three years, social investments worth 14 million lei have been made in the Radeni village. The Radeni commune is made up of three villages: Radeni, Zamcioji and Draguseni.
