Moldovan deputy PM participates in inauguration ceremony of elected Georgian president

Chisinau, 16 December /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Cristina Lesnic, has participated in the official inauguration ceremony of the elected Georgian President, Salome Zourabichvili, the office for reintegration policy’s information and media communication service has reported.
The event was attended by about 150 representatives of different states, out of which 55 high – level delegations and 15 at the highest level.
In her speech, the president spoke about her people, thanked and appreciated the contribution of each predecessor to development of the country and strengthening of democracy, highlighted priorities of her mandate and development prospects of Georgia.
Salome Zourabichvili is the first female president in the history of Georgia. Salome Zourabichvili won the presidential election in Georgia on 28 November 2018 with 59.52 per cent of the votes cast by Georgians.
It is worth mentioning that the official delegation headed by deputy PM, Cristina Lesnic, also includes the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Georgia (residing in Baku), E.S. Gheorghe Leuca, and representatives of the Office for Reintegration Policy (BPR).
