Finance Ministry releases video guide on calculating wages in budgetary sector

Chisinau, 17 December /MOLDPRES/- A video guide on calculating salaries in the budgetary sector was released today by the Ministry of Finance on its official website.

With the help of the guide, employers and accountants of budgetary institutions can get acquainted with the new wage conditions.

The guide includes: the normative framework regulating the wage conditions, actions due to be taken by employers to implement changes, wage components and two examples of determining the basic salary.

The authors of the guide present the components of the monthly salary, how to determine the basic salary, the reference values applicable for December 2018 - December 2019, how to set the salary class, the components of fixed and variable part of the monthly salary, the determination and payment of the difference of wage and compensation payment.

At the same time, people who have difficulty in applying the new changes may request consultancy at hotline - 0 8000 1525 (6) of the Call Center.

The calls are recorded and remitted by the Call Center operators to the Ministry of Finance specialists, who then respond to the questions of the interested persons and give them the appropriate explanations.

The new wage conditions in the budgetary sector entered into force on 1 December 2018. The provisions will apply to about 200,000 employees from 2,700 budgetary institutions.
