Two Moldovan families without dwellings in winter to get assistance on behalf of government

Chisinau, 17 December /MOLDPRES/ - Three families from Moldova which face a particularly serious situation will benefit from financial assistance on behalf of the government. As much as 160,000 lei will be earmarked from the government’s reserve fund to this end.
A decision to this effect was taken at a today’s meeting of the commission for emergency situations, chaired by Prime Minister Pavel Filip, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Thus, 50,000 lei will be allocated to a family from the Radenii Vechi village, western Ungheni village, which remained without dwelling, after a devastating fire had burnt up it house. The money will be used to buy a new house for those five members of the family, among whom a two-year-old child and an old man.
At the same time, 90,000 lei will be allocated to a family from the Negresti village, central Straseni district, which also remained without a permanent home in full swing of winter.
„My request is that we move as fast as possible. The holidays are coming and, no matter how difficult it would be, all must have dwellings, so that everybody is together at home during holidays. It is important that our citizens always feel that the state takes care of them, regardless of the circumstances,” the PM stressed.
The participants in the meeting also ruled the providing of a financial assistance worth 20,000 lei to compensate the expenses for the repatriation of a Moldovan dead in a tragic accidents in the Kaluga city, Russia. The cabinet has earlier earmarked 119,000 lei for the repatriation and return of the victims of this accident to Moldova.
