Moldovan leu to depreciate against euro, US dollar

Chisinau, 18 December /MOLDPRES/ – The national currency (MDL) will depreciate on 19 December in relation to the main reference currencies, according to the official exchange rates published by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) today.

Thus, the US dollar (USD) will be priced at a rate of MDL 17,30. The single European currency (EUR) will add MDL 0,09 and cost MDL 19,71.

The Romanian leu (RON) gets more expensive. It will increase by MDL 0,03 and reach value of MDL 04,24.

The Russian rouble (RUB) depreciates with MDL 0,01 and will cost MDL 0,25, and the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) will remain at the level of MDL 0,62.
