Moldovan Public Services Agency's management presents results of institution's work in 2018

Chisinau, 18 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Public Services Agency (ASP) in 2018 opened 38 multifunctional centres, within which more than 3.8 million services were provided. ASP director Sergiu Railean presented data to this effect at a news conference today.   

According to Railean, at those 38 centres, of which three are in Chisinau and the others are in districts, more than 1,000 types of services are provided. “The 2018 year was pretty burdened for ASP; we have revised the Agency’s entire activity, as well as all internal processes. As early as one year after its foundation, ASP became the first institution of Moldova to implement the anti-bribery management international standard,” Sergiu Railean said.  

He specified that the institution he leads, during this year, issued more than 905,000 identity documents, about 50,000 driver’s licences and provided one million and a half of cadastre services.

Among the achievements for 2018, Railean marked also the opening of two registration centres on the left bank of Dniester, where over 1,600 vehicles have been already recorded.

The ASP head noted that more activities were planned for 2019, among which the optimization of the list of services provided by the institution and creation of a new classified list, as well as the launch of a new information system for keeping record of civil status acts.
