Moldovan, Georgian, Ukrainian sides sign memorandum of understanding and mutual cooperation

Chisinau, 19 December /MOLDPRES/ - A new round of discussions within the trilateral platform of communication between Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine took place in Tbilisi today. Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Cristina Lesnic, along with Georgia’s State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili and Ukrainian Minister of Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaces Persons Vadym Chernysh tackled a string of issues of common interest regarding the unsettled conflicts.
According to the Reintegration Policies Bureau, a ceremony of signing a memorandum of understanding and mutual cooperation between the Reintegration Policies Bureau of Moldova’s State Chancellery, Officer of Georgia’s State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and Ukraine’s Ministry of Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons was held at the end of the meeting.
Through this document, the sides established an inter-departmental platform for carrying out the exchange of good practices in the field of reintegration of territories which are not under the control of the states Sides and initiating deep regional cooperation, in order to identify ways of mutual support.
The meeting in the trilateral format is a continuation of the dialogue started in last November, during a visit to Chisinau by the ministers from Georgia and Ukraine.
