Meeting of working groups for telecommunication, postal services held in Tiraspol

Chisinau, 20 December /MOLDPRES/- A meeting of the working groups for telecommunication and postal services was held at the OSCE Mission to Tiraspol yesterday. The delegation from Moldova was made up of the representatives of the Bureau for Reintegration, the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, Customs Service and Moldovan Post Office.

The participants approached issues related to providing postal services on both banks of the Dniestre, difficulties on the matter and steps to be taken to address existing problems.

At the same time, the Moldovan side raised the issue on transporting pensions in the Molovata Noua and Cocieri villages over the Dniester in winter and the need to ensure the continuity of the process without artificial impediments.

Talks will be resumed at the next meeting of the working groups, date to be agreed subsequently.
