Public lighting in Valea Trandafirilor park inaugurated today

Chisinau, 21 December /MOLDPRES/- The public lighting in the Valea Trandafirilor Park in Chisinau was inaugurated by the municipal authorities.

According to the city hall, in all 300 light-emitting diodes were installed. Work began in this summer and aimed at laying 6 km of underground networks and installing 270 metal pillars.

The inauguration was attended by acting mayor of Chisinau Ruslan Codreanu, who was satisfied with the quality of the works. "This concept of modern lighting ensures energy efficiency, optimizing consumption and increasing safety for citizens. I think this lighting system needs to be expabded to secondary alleyways in the park,” he said.

Also, the park lighting network also provides other aspects of night comfort, such as color temperature of light, limitation of light and light control, including the possibility of routing in certain areas, by reducing the level of lighting as needed at night.

The rehabilitation project of the Valea Trandafirilor park provides the renovation of the LLED public lighting network, restoration of walkways, fountain renovation, construction of skatepark and drawing of bicycle tracks. The total cost of the works is 13.7 million lei, sources from the municipal budget.
