National Bank of Moldova, most commercial banks to have closed work schedule on winter holidays' period

Chisinau, 21 December /MOLDPRES/ - The National Bank of Moldova (BNM) will have a closed work schedule on the days of 24, 25 and 31 December 2018, as well as on 1, 7 and 8 January 2019, which were officially declared days-off. Most licenced banks from Moldova will have the same work schedule, excepting some subdivisions.  

At the same time, on 26 December 2018, the licenced banks will not make discounts in the currency of the European Union member states, as the work of the financial institutions from this area will be ceased on the occasion of the Christmas holidays.
