Yellow Ice Code remains in Moldova

Chisinau, 25 December /MOLDPRES/- The yellow code of strong wind and icy will continue throughout the day, according to the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS).

"On the evening of 24 December and on 25 December, it is expected strong wind gusting up to 15-20 meters per second. Icy roads are in the country,” SHS said.

In the case of Yellow Code, weather conditions are potentially dangerous, forecast weather phenomena are common to the country, but may temporarily become dangerous for certain social and economic activities.

In this context, police and rescuers recommend that people who choose to go on the road, be very cautious about traffic, and drivers keep up with speed limits, keep the phone battery charged, and in case of risk to call 112 service.
