About 1,100 persons buy dwellings within First Home programme in Moldova

Chisinau, 26 December /MOLDPRES/ - The number of people who bought dwellings through the First Home governmental programme has reached 1,100. As many as 800 out of these persons are young families and 295 are young unmarried people.
Commercial banks provided loans worth 520 million lei for purchasing the dwellings. The total sum of the active guarantees is of 260 million lei. The average value of the dwellings bought is of 560,000 lei. The average age of the applicants for dwellings is 31 years. Finance Minister Ion Chicu presented the data on his official page on a social network.
„Long Lives the (first) new home! For more than 1,100 young families or young unmarried people, 2018 meant the year when they purchased a dwelling. Their first home! Good luck for them and may they as quickly as possible come up with requests for compensations for the First Home 3 – more children, the bigger the support on behalf of the state is!,” Ion Chicu wrote.
The First Home governmental programme was launched on 26 March, this year.
