Romania transfers three-million-euros-worth installment for modernization of Moldova's kindergartens

Chisinau, 26 December /MOLDPRES/ - Romania has transferred a new installment worth three million euros for the restoration and modernization of kindergartens in Moldova.
The money is meant for the renovation and modernization of pre-school institutions within the technical and financial assistance programme provided by the government of Romania for pre-school institutions of Moldova, managed by the Moldova Social Investment Fund (FISM).
According to data by FISM, 845 kindergartens have been restored and modernized in Moldova with the grant provided by the Romanian cabinet, with about 29 million euros turned to account to this end.
The agreement between the Moldovan and Romanian governments on the implementation of the programme on technical and financial assistance, based on a non-refundable financial assistance worth 100 million euros, was signed in Bucharest on 27 April 2010.
