Moldovan cabinet approves new rules on authorization of fishing

Chisinau, 26 December /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today approved new rules on the authorization of fishing in natural fishing water objects.

Under the document, the fishing in the rivers and lakes of Moldova will be allowed based on special authorizations, certificates and permits, released by the Environment Agency. The fishing permit will be uninominal, non-transmissible and valid in the year of its purchasing.

The draft also sees that the holder of the certificate of assigning a quota for commercial fishing will be allowed the use of five tools for fishing, with their compulsory sealing by Environment Agency’s representatives. This will not allow the use of other nets but those officially registered.

The money got from the payment of permits will be collected in the national ecological fund.
