Belarus donates mobile chest radiography machine to hospital from Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 28 December /MOLDPRES/ - A chest radiography mobile machine for making the screening of lungs’ diseases today was donated by Belarus to the Chisinau-based Chiril Draganiuc Institute of Phthisiopneumology.

Ambassador of Belarus to Moldova Sergey Chichuk handed the keys to the automobile to the management of the aforementioned institute. The vehicle will be used within a national campaign, A Doctor for You, to examine residents from Moldova’s rural zones.

The Moldovan government this year purchased another mobile machine of lungs’ screening from Belarus, with the help of which more than 22,000 persons have been examined in the last five months.

Within the campaign, A Doctor for You, launched in last August by PM Pavel Filip, specialists examined more than 32,000 people from all regions of Moldova.
