Decision on end of plenary session of parliament published in Official Journal of Moldova

Chisinau, 29 December /MOLDPRES/ – The decision on the end of the autumn plenary session of the Parliament was published today in the Official Journal.
This year last session of the Legislature took place on 14 December.
According to the Legislative Regulation, the Parliament meets in two ordinary sessions per year. The spring session begins in February and can not go beyond the end of July. The autumn session begins in September and can not go beyond the end of December. The first plenary session of the autumn session 2018 took place on 27 September.
It was the last autumn session of the Moldovan Parliament of the 20th legislature, whose term expired on 30 November. Under the provisions of the Constitution, the mandate of the Parliament is extended until the legal meeting of the new composition. During this period, the legislature may adopt ordinary laws, decisions, may organise hearings, consultations and perform Parliamentary scrutiny.
