About 90 applications for registration for MP post submitted to uninominal constituencies

Chisinau, 2 January /MOLDPRES/- About 90 applications for registration of candidates for the post of MP were submitted to uninominal constituencies.

According to the Central Electoral Commission, the electoral councils of the uninominal constituencies have registered 251 initiative groups to support candidates for the post of MP, releasing subscription lists.

Thus, about 30 candidates were registered in the uninominal constituencies.

January 4th is the deadline for submission of documents for the registration of initiative groups to support candidates for the post of MP in uninominal constituencies.

The 24 February parliamentary elections will be held by a mixed electoral system, the MPs will be elected on party lists and in constituencies.
