Assets owned by local public administration could be sold only by public tender in Moldova

Chisinau, 3 January /MOLDPRES/ - The procedure of sale, granting, leasing or renting of assets owned by local public administration will be made through public tender, under legislative amendments due to be published in the 4 January issue of the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial).
According to the new regulations, the legal acts on administration and instruction as regards the public assets of the administrative and territorial unit with private persons and legal entities are signed by public tender, organized under the law. To sign legal acts on instruction concerning the assets owned by the administrative and territorial unit with private persons and legal entities, the assessor will have to compile the evaluation report two years till the date of the tender at the latest.
At the same time, the public assets will be subjected to annual inventorying and the reports on their situation will be presented to the local council.
The same issue of the Official Journal will also contain a presidential decree on the promulgation of the concerned legislative amendments.
