Ambulance doctors assist home birth in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 11 January /MOLDPRES/ – A team of ambulance doctors assisted a home birth in Chisinau on the night of 10 January. Both the woman and the baby were transported to the maternity hospital for further care.
The Public Relations Specialist at the National Prehospital Emergency Medical Assistance Centre (CNAMUP), Galina Boboc, said that within recent 24 hours, two emergency healthcare teams from the Emergency Medical Assistance Straseni and Ialoveni facilities provided emergency medical assistance for three patients with trauma caused by a road accident produced on Panasesti – Tataresti route. The patients were transported in a stable state to the hospital.
Also on 10 January, a man in the capital with hypothermia was taken from the street by a team of ambulance doctors which gave him emergency medical assistance and carried him to the hospital.
According to the quoted source, on 10 January, due to bad weather conditions, an ambulance could not reach a patient in Criuleni district and asked the intervention of rescuers. Subsequently, the man received the necessary medical care and was transported to the hospital.
