Land tax could be paid online in Moldova

Chisinau, 14 January /MOLDPRES/ - A new type of tax could be paid online by using the MPay service. This is the land tax – a compulsory payment to the local budget, paid for the exercising by private people and legal entities of the rights to possession, use and ownership over lands.

To pay the land tax online, tax payers will have to make several simple steps: access the webpage of the service www.mpay.gov.md/Services/Service/VEN01, introduce the type of tax and other data demanded in the form and make the payment.

The land tax is grouped in five categories on the page of the governmental portal of electronic payments and an economic classification is assigned to each of them.

At present, more taxes can be paid through the MPay service, among which the tax for the use of roads by vehicles registered in Moldova, tax on wealth, tax on real estate, tax on the issuance of the licence of entrepreneur, income tax.
