Euro cheapens, US dollar gets more expensive against Moldovan currency

Chisinau, 15 January /MOLDPRES/ – The European single currency (EUR) will be cheaper, and the US dollar (USD) will increase against the national currency on 16 January, according to the official exchange rates of the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

Thus, the EUR will be cheaper by MDL 0.05, up to MDL 19.59. The value set by the BNM for the USD is MDL 17.14, with MDL 0,02 more than today.

The Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and Romanian leu (RON) decrease by MDL 0.01 each. The RON will reach the level of MDL 04.18 and UAH – MDL 0.60.

The value of the Russian rouble (RUB) will remain unchanged – MDL 0.25.
