Sixty thousand beneficiaries get financial aid before winter holidays in Moldova

Chisinau, 17 January /MOLDPRES/ – The law on amending Law №313/2018 regarding the granting of unique support to pension beneficiaries will be published on 18 January in the Official Journal of Moldova.

The law is organic and has been adopted under the provisions of art. 1061 of the Constitution, by engaging the accountability of the Government to the Parliament.

At the end of 2018, the Executive committed responsibility for another 60 thousand persons to receive MDL 600 of aid before winter holidays. Thus, all persons who have reached retirement age have benefited from financial aid, but they have not completed their full – time work or have not been able to prove with papers that they have worked and receive an allowance of several hundred lei, persons with disabilities and those who lost their breadwinner.

According to the Constitution, the Government can assume parliamentary responsibility for a programme, a general policy statement or a bill.
