Chisinau, 17 January /MOLDPRES/ – The primary school Grigore Vieru in Stefan Voda city was repaired with the support of the authorities of Brasov county (Romania). Thus, this year, the disciples of the institution continued their studies in a building arranged according to European norms.

The reconstruction project of school Grigore Vieru started in summer of 2018, following a collaboration agreement between the Stefan Voda district Council and Brasov county Council, signed in autumn 2017.

With the support of the Romanian partners, there were created optimal educational conditions for primary school pupils. The works were carried out with the application of energy – efficient technologies, connected to European standards. "All the works were done: the thermal insulation of the building facade, replacement of external joinery (doors and windows), as well as repair works of heating system. Moreover, from additional sources coming from correlation of budget and due to the Romanian financial support, it was rehabilitated the pavement in the school yard," said sources from Stefan Voda.

According to the cited sources, the school was recently visited by a group of representatives of the Council of Brasov county. "At the time of the visit the air temperature in the study rooms was 23 – 24ºC, the pupils and teachers were working in enviable conditions. It is worth mentioning that there is no other educational institution in the district because the primary school is in the edifice of the former kindergarten. Therefore, next to each classroom there is also a recreation room, sanitary unit, locker room", says stefan – voda.md.

"We all have the same dream: to have us, as soon as possible, the opportunity to financially support the social projects implemented by our friends across the Prut river," concluded quoted source.
