Regulation on work of Moldova's energy regulator to be revised

Chisinau, 17 January /MOLDPRES/ - The decision on the approval of the regulation on the organization and work of the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) will be published in the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial) of Moldova on 18 January.

Under the document due to be published, the regulation on the organization and work of ANRE will be revised according to the legal provisions of the Third Energy Package. The regulation in the new version will not establish new provisions of the legal framework, but will show the powers and duties of ANRE set in the present laws.

According to the authors of the new regulation on the ANRE’s work, the old document was obsolete and no longer meets the legal provisions.
