Moldova's Agency of Intervention and Payments for Agriculture to be reorganized

Chisinau, 18 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Agency of Interventions and Payments for Agriculture (AIPA) will be reorganized. The agency will no longer be public institution, but administrative authority, according to a draft approved by the cabinet of ministers today.
The Agency will be in charge of the management of the national fund for the development of agriculture and rural development, including the financial sources coming from development partners. Just as till present, the institution will have territorial subdivisions with status of sections or services.
AIPA will be led by a director, assisted by two deputy directors, who will be appointed or suspended from office by the agriculture, regional development and environment minister.
According to an informative note of the cabinet decision, the reorganization will generate unplanned expenses for the unused leave days and for the allowance of dismissal from job, estimated at 1.2 million lei. If the concerned people do not accept the appointment to a public office, the spending will be higher and will reach three million lei.
