Moldova's minors to first ever receive monthly allocations on behalf of state

Chisinau, 22 January /MOLDPRES/ The families with children up to 18 years of age will receive monthly allocations worth 200 lei for each child. The leader of the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM), Vlad Plahotniuc, made statements to this effect at the end of the PDM weekly meeting today.
According to Plahotniuc, decision-makers have been working for a long time on this initiative and today they ruled that the families from Moldova receive monthly 200 lei for each child up to the age of 18 years.
"All these social projects initiated by PDM, including the one which sees allocations for children, are already prepared and in several weeks, when the parliament will hold its meeting, we will vote them in the first reading. We will vote them in the second reading in the next legislative body, under the law,” the PDM leader said.
No money has been provided for in Moldova’s budget for monthly allocations to minors so far.
