One more trolley bus route to have extended schedule in Chisinau at night

Chisinau, 23 January /MOLDPRES/ -The schedule of movement of the trolley bus No 8 will be extended till 1:00 am. The Chisinau acting mayor, Ruslan Codreanu, has made statements to this effect.

According to Codreanu, the decision was taken at a request by a group of young people.

„This will be the third municipal trolley bus route due to move till after midnight too. I am opened for cooperation and I am ready to back initiatives of all those willing to help us provide comfort to passengers,’’ Codreanu wrote on a social network.

At present, the trolley buses of the routes No 22 and 24 move till after the midnight. The cost of one travel ticket is the same as during the day – 2 lei. The initiative to introduce the night-time public transport belongs to young people from a non-governmental organization.
