More flights delayed or cancelled because of bad weather in Moldova

Chisinau, 23 January /MOLDPRES/ - More flights today were delayed or cancelled at the Chisinau International Airport because of the bad weather.

According to the Airport’s official website, the flights to Paris, Verona and Moscow will take off with a delay of up to four hours. At the same time, the flight to Frankfurt was cancelled.

Also, a delay in more than four hours is recorded in the landing of the planes flying from Saint Petersburg, Frankfurt, Turin, Rome and Paris.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, meteorologist Ala Barsa said that fog was presently maintained in Moldova’s central and southern regions. “The fog will persist at night too. We will come up with other forecasts,” the meteorologist added.
