Chisinau, 24 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Constitutional Court’s (CCM) decision on the validation of Moldovan MP mandates will be published in the 25 January issue of the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial).

The CCM on 18 January 2019 validated the mandates of five lawmakers in Moldova’s parliament of the 20th legislative period on behalf of the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) and Party of Communists (PCRM).

Those five MPs are Pavel Ianet, Gheorghe Brasovschi and Eleonora Graur – alternate candidates on PDM’s list and Ivan Filimon and Ghenadie Morcov – alternate candidates on PCRM’s list. At the plenary session, the top Court’s members did not establish circumstances able to hinder the validation of the mandates. Those five MPs will hold the lawmaker seats which remained vacant after the leaving of Artur Resetnicov, Marcel Raducan, Raisa Apolschi, Valentina Buliga and Corneliu Mihalachi.

The Constitutional Court’s ruling is final, cannot be subjected to any appeal, enters into force on the date of adoption and is published in the Official Journal of Moldova.
