Moldova's Republican Centre for Prosthesis, Orthopedics and Rehabilitation to be reorganized

Chisinau, 24 January /MOLDPRES/ - The state enterprise, Republican Centre for Prosthesis, Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, will be reorganized and turned into public institution, under a cabinet decision, due to be published in the 25 January issue of the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial).
According to the document, the founder of the institution will be the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry.
The dismissal of the staff in connection with the institution’s reorganization will be made in line with the labour legislation, if it is impossible to transfer it.
At the same time, there will be 315 employees at the institution, of whom 49 workers at the manufacturing sections and 18 at the canteen.
The decision enters into force on the date of its publication.
The Republican Centre for Prosthesis, Orthopedics and Rehabilitation was set up in December 1992. It represents a medical complex of production, which has two main tasks: providing residents with technical assistance means (prostheses, corsetry, bandages, orthopedic footwear, etc.) and providing medical rehabilitation assistance to disabled people, war veterans and persons with diseases of the locomotor apparatus, by means of consulting, treatment and rehabilitation.
