Several lorries blocked on roads due to bad weather conditions in Moldova

Chisinau, 25 January /MOLDPRES/ – Several lorries are stationed on roads in the country due to unfavourable weather conditions. The information was submitted by the National Patrol Inspectorate (INP).

Thus, there are parked 40 trucks at the entrance to Anenii Noi, but they do not create traffic impediments. And a truck is blocked on the serpentines between villages Fundul Galbenei and Buteni in Hancesti district.

Also, on the Causeni – Saiti route due to the ice, all means of transport are stopped until the road surface is processed with anti – skid material.

It is difficult to travel in Causeni and Stefan Voda. There are stationed 22 heavy trucks at a filling station in Causeni, and in Stefan Voda – 26 ones.

Also, it is difficult to travel to eight localities in Stefan Voda, including Copceac, Semionovca, Alava, Volintiri, Brezoaia, Stefanesti, Carahasani, Caplani. The same situation is in nine other localities in Causeni. These are Saiti, Hagimus, Gradinita, Plop – Stiubei, Taraclia, Salcuta, Farladeni, Carnatenii Noi and Coscalia.

According to the INP, there have been 07 serious road accidents in recent 24 hours, resulting in 07 traumatised persons, of which 06 accidents were with hitting the pedestrians.

The INP has warned drivers that traffic is difficult and dangerous due to ice and precipitation in the form of rain or snow, and sometimes there is even fog. Thus, patrol officers have recommended people to avoid travel, especially long departures.
