New post office opens in western locality of Moldova

Chisinau, 25 January /MOLDPRES/ – A new post office was opened on 24 January in village Sculeni, Ungheni district. The company will offer services of better quality to customers from three localities.

"We took a decision not to repair what is old, because it is very expensive. That is why we introduced this project of total renovation of post offices which is successful. This type of post office does not require maintenance, which makes it accessible and comfortable for both employees and customers," said General Manager of Posta Moldovei, Serghei Nastas, at the office inauguration ceremony.

The new office in Sculeni was equipped with modern equipment, ensuring all the necessary conditions for the activity of employees, as well as for the convenience of the clients from villages Sculeni, Blindesti and Floreni.

"Due to a good management team, over the recent five years, in Ungheni, there have been regular repairs in 27 post offices, 08 capital repairs, out of 48 ​​post offices – 46 are automated. All the beautiful things happening are visible," said director of Ungheni Post Office, Parascovia Chirinciuc.

According to Serghei Nastas, there are still about 400 post offices to be renovated in the country. "We still have much work, but the results that already exist motivate and encourage us. We all want a competent national post office, according to European standards," said head of Posta Moldovei.
