Employees of Moldovan parliament's secretariat with minor children have day-off today

Chisinau, 25 January /MOLDPRES/ - The employees of the Moldovan parliament’s Secretariat, who have minor children, have day-off on 25 January 2019, given the weather conditions in Moldova, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu has signed an instruction to this effect, after the Education, Culture and Research Ministry had announced its decision on ceasing the work of the general education institutions.
According to Andrian Candu, the safety and health of people and children is and must remain a priority.
It is worth mentioning that the schools and kindergartens from Moldova today do not work because of the bad weather. Roads are covered with glazed frost because of the mixed precipitation. The Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry provides needed medical assistance and non-stop access to medical services in hospitals. In case of crisis situations, blockages because of snow, citizens may call the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations at the phone number 022-73-85-45 or the 112 emergency service.
