Tenth anniversary of Eastern Partnership to be marked in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 25 January /MOLDPRES/ - The deepening of the Moldovan-Polish political dialogue, extension of the commercial and economic relations and backing the European integration of Moldova by the Warsaw authorities have been discussed at a meeting between Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi and Foreign Affairs Minister of Poland Jacek Czaputowicz in Davos, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s press service has reported.
At the meeting, Tudor Ulianovschi and Jacek Czaputowicz reviewed the present stage of the bilateral relations. The officials highlighted their positive dynamic, especially on the commercial and economic segment, where the Moldovan-Polish investment partners developed, taking into account the fact that more than 100 enterprises with Polish capital work in Moldova.
The two foreign affairs ministers agreed on organizing a string of joint actions in the near future, in the context of marking the tenth anniversary of the singing of the Eastern Partnership in 2019 and strengthening efforts for the advancement of the Moldova-EU dialogue, through the light of the successful implementation of the reforms assumed by Moldova following the signing of the Free Trade Agreement with the European Union.
Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi represents Moldova at the World Economic Forum in Davos, held on 22-25 January.
