Chisinau, 25 January /MOLDPRES/ - An exhibition of painting and graphic titled, Line and Colour, by fine artists Vitalie and Antonina Grisciuc, dedicated to the old Chisinau, was inaugurated at the French Alliance of Moldova today.

”This is the second exhibition by these spouses at the French Alliance. The previous exhibition took place in March 2015 and was a success. At that time, we promised that we would organize another exhibition with new works. They present more aspects of our daily life. A good deal of the works shows the old Chisinau. They have a special way to reproduce with special warmth and light old districts, architecture monuments and simple houses, as well as landscapes from our Bessarabian villages,” Adrian Ciubotaru said.

For his part, Vitalie Grisciuc noted that the works were carried out in diverse techniques of painting and graphic. “For more than 20 years, we have been collecting pictures with the old city and creating the concerned works.”

Graduates of prestigious painting schools from Moldova and Romania, Vitalie and Antonina Grisciuc have participated, starting from 1992, in group and personal exhibitions in Moldova, Romania, Luxembourg, Japan, Spain and other countries. Their works are found in public and private collections from numerous states.
