Road workers continue fighting slide

Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/- Road workers continued last night snow removal and combating slide.

The head of the State Road Administration's Operational Service, Sergiu Capatina, said that last night, there was no snow, but there was fog in some areas.

"There were 77 special vehicles and 171 workers on road cleaning. Road workers used over 538 tons of anti-skid material. Road traffic on national roads is ensured under winter conditions. Dangerous sectors are monitored and, if necessary, intervened ", he said.

According to meteorologists, the weather is warming up in the coming days. At night, the air temperature will reach -3 degrees in the north, and +7 degrees during the day in the south. There will be precipitation as snow and sleet.
