Senior teachers to get annual compensation of 2,000 lei

Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/- A number of 6,300 senior teachers will receive financial compensation of 2,000 lei annually starting from 2019. Initially, this was granted only to teachers and educators. At the same time, the mechanism for granting annual compensation will be simplified. A decision to this effect was approved today by the government.

Under the new provisions, to eliminate bureaucracy, the obligation to present documents confirming the purchase of the respective goods will be excluded. "It is true that the Regulation provided for a number of bureaucracy issues, presenting the check, reports to the head of the institution, and we decided to remove these requirements,” Prime Minister Pavel Filip said.

Benefits will be used to purchase teaching materials, computer engineering and software products to conduct on-line training.

About 12.6 million lei are needed to implement the project.
