Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/- The Constitutional Court declared as inadmissible the complaints submitted by the Party of Socialists and ACUM election bloc on the government's decision on polling stations outside Moldova.
The Socialists claim that the government has opened too few polling stations in Russia, ignoring the large number of Moldovan citizens living there, as well as the note by Moldovan Ambassador to Moscow providing for opportunity to open 22 polling stations in Russia.
ACUM representatives said that the authorities have opened too few polling stations in the following countries: Belgium, Canada, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States of America, and in other countries no polling stations at all (Denmark).
Following the examination of the case, the Constitutional Court considers the complaints as unfounded and declared them inadmissible.
The court’s ruling is final and cannot be subject to any appeal, shall enter into force upon adoption and shall be published in the Official Journal of Moldova.
