Around 450 companies present goods at exhibition Made in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/ – Around 450 companies have presented their products at exhibition: Fabricat în Moldova (Made in Moldova), XVIIIth issue, which was inaugurated at Moldexpo Centre in Chisinau municipality today.

The participants at the event with generic: Acasa. Autentic. Autohton (At home. Authentic. Autohton) have exhibited their best products, ranging from agricultural, furniture and textiles to dairy products, pastries, beverages and dried fruits. The visitors can admire and even buy commodities exhibited by many popular craftsmen and 17 businesses that are part of brand: Din inima (From the heart).

The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Sergiu Harea, has said that Made in Moldova is a platform where local companies can be supported.

The head of the EU Delegation to Moldova, Peter Michalko, has said that the exhibition is an event of major importance for business environment and the ones which intend to invest in Moldova. According to the official, about 70 per cent of the products exported by Moldova are directed to EU.

At his turn, Minister of Finance, Ion Chicu, has said that the exhibition is an important event for the economic development of Moldova, while the number of participants and exhibited products is increasing each year.

As in previous editions, the exhibition will host a large business programme  focusing upon subjects of great relevance to both consumers and producers. Related to it, there will be set different roundtables, presentations of companies and goods, seminars, conferences on topics of interest in the sphere of commercial – economic cooperation.

The exhibition is open until 03 February 2019.
